Rebel Wolves is looking for a lead writer for the "next chapter of the Dawnwalker saga."This was announced by the studio's narrative director Jakub Szamalek.

Studio looking for lead writer for 'next chapter'

According to Szamalek, The Blood of Dawnwalker sold more than a million copies in its first weekend.In the same publication, he announced a search for a Lead Writer to work with the narrative team on the next chapter.

This is not yet an announcement of The Blood of Dawnwalker 2: the project does not have a name, platforms or date.So far, only the search for a screenwriter and the intention to continue the saga have been confirmed.

Dawnwalker was intended to be a saga from the very beginning

Rebel Wolves talked about Dawnwalker as a saga even before the release, so the search for a screenwriter a few days after the launch does not look like a sudden decision on the wave of sales.

For a new studio and a new series, a million copies in the first weekend is a significant result.It doesn't guarantee a big budget for the next game, but it does give Rebel Wolves a lot more reason to continue the story.

Rebel Wolves was founded by former CD Projekt developers, so the studio received a lot of attention even before release.Now the team has its own commercial result, and not just famous names on its resume.

The next game doesn't have to be just bigger.It’s much more interesting which decisions of the first part the studio will leave and which ones it will revise after player feedback.

The name, platforms and timing of the next game have not yet been announced.There is only a confirmed intention to continue the saga and an open vacancy for a lead screenwriter.
