Xbox has released its answer to the PlayStation Platinum Trophy to the first players: Mythic Achievements can be seen by Xbox Insider members starting September 29th.The reward appears when the player has collected all the main achievements of the game, and even comes for past playthroughs.

Conditions of receipt

Mythic Achievement is given for all original achievements in the game.Achievements that were added later through add-ons or updates are not needed for rewards.Having received it, the player keeps it forever.

Reward for the Past

Xbox has already added Mythic Achievements for eligible games you've completed previously, including games from the Xbox 360. So the next time you log into your profile, some of your favorite games may be Mythic without a single new action.

New profile tab

The Gaming tab has appeared in the profile. It shows achievements, the next icon for Gamerscore and a list of completed games.Mythic Achievements are highlighted with a heroic frame, so you can immediately see how many of them have already been accumulated.Your friends' tabs are also open, and you can see what games they've taken to mythical status.

Progress bar

At the top of each game's achievement list there is now a bar that shows how close you are to Mythic. You can leave in the list only those main achievements that have not yet been obtained.Achievements added later are marked as add-on to make it clear that they are not needed for the reward.Similar progress is shown in the Guide menu and achievement details.

For now only for Insiders

The feature is currently available to Xbox Insider members.Microsoft has not yet announced when it will reach all players.Xbox head Asha Sharma hinted at such an award back in August, when she wrote that the team was working on something by the end of the year.
