Creative Assembly brings back one of the most beloved Total War titles in its own updated version. Total War: SHOGUN 2 – Complete Edition will be released on October 13th on PC and will cost $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99.
Includes the original game and all major expansions, including Rise of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai. This is not just a re-release of the set: the technical part is also being updated.

The main change is not the graphics
The version is being transferred to 64-bit architecture, adding interface scaling for 1440p and 4K, a modern control scheme and built-in support for mods via Mod.io.Lighting, shadows and textures will also be updated.
A separate surprise is that more than 50 small factions will become playable.Previously, most of them existed only as opponents or neighbors on the strategic map.

Old owners will be given a 75% discount
Owners of SHOGUN 2 on Steam will be able to buy the Complete Edition with a 75% discount from October 13 to November 12.At the same time, on Steam, a new purchase includes the old version with all DLC, except Blood Pack.
There is also an important limitation: mods from the original SHOGUN 2 will not automatically work in the Complete Edition. The new version uses a separate Mod.io integration.
The original will no longer be sold separately
Starting September 28, regular SHOGUN 2 will no longer be available for purchase as a standalone game on Steam. The page will remain, but the game itself and additions will be included in the Complete Edition.
Nothing is turned off for existing owners.Their library and old mods will remain in place, so upgrading to the new version is not necessary.
