Star Wars: Galactic Racer was released on October 6 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.Fuse Games returned the Star Wars universe to high-speed repulsor racing, but instead of a direct successor to Episode I: Racer, it went for a more modern structure.

The single player campaign is dedicated to the racer Shade. The player chooses vehicles, upgrades and events on the way to the elite league. The developers directly call race projects one of the game's guidelines, so decisions between races affect the next stage.

In the races, different classes of cars with their own trajectories and controls are encountered simultaneously. In addition to the campaign, online multiplayer is announced, and among the locations there are Jakku and Ando Prime.

The release fell into one of the busiest weeks of October. We have compiled a complete list of upcoming premieres at calendar of games from 5 to 9 October. For Star Wars fans, we also have material on tactical Star Wars Zero Company.

Galactic Racer is interesting primarily because of its attempt to turn an arcade race into a long campaign with a constant choice of route and car assembly.
