In Sker: The Bleeding Veil, enemies are blind, but they hear every step - the horror game will be released in the spring

The Sker series will have a new story. Wales Interactive together with Stormind Games presentedSker: The Bleeding Veil is a first-person horror game in which the most dangerous thing is to make an unnecessary sound.Opponents cannot see the hero, but they can clearly hear his steps.Release scheduled for spring 2027 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Return to the shelter after the First World War

The action takes place in 1924, after the events of Maid of Sker.Gareth Morgan returns to the orphanage he knew as a child to find his little sister Elin.Sister Gwenllian gathered her former pupils around a cult associated with the Siren's Song.The hero will have to find out what happened to the people he once considered family.

The authors draw on Welsh folk legends.The gloomy asylum and its inhabitants are associated with more than just ghosts: there is a ritual behind what is happening, which is controlled by Gwenllian.They promise to tell about the heroes’ past through the environment, documents and meetings, and not just through cut scenes.

There will be no ordinary weapons: the sound both helps and gives away

The main feature is blind pursuers that react to sound.Hiding is not enough: you will have to listen to their movements, choose the time to pass and distract dangerous creatures.The creators separately say that the project does not have a full-fledged combat system.

For riddles you will need a tuning fork and other musical instruments.With their help, you can interact with mechanisms based on the pitch and combination of sounds.Another device carillon with replaceable cylinders, will influence the behavior of the pursuers.It turns out that the same action can either open the way or attract the enemy.

Wales Interactive is known for Maid of Sker, Sker Ritual and interactive horror games.The second participant is Stormind Games, which worked on the Remothered series.For the new project, the team is emphasizing tension and exploration over action.This is an important difference from the co-op Sker Ritual, where players did a lot of shooting.
