A fan campaign for the return of Mass Effect has taken to the streets."Save Mass Effect" signs appeared outside EA's Madrid office building, just days after the company announced the closure of series creator BioWare.

This was reported by a Reddit user under the nickname Ok_Link9625, who published photographs: at least two inscriptions were written at the entrance and on the wall opposite the office. The author of the post accidentally saw them while leaving the cinema.

The #SaveMassEffect campaign began immediately after the series was frozen, the Mass Effect: Universe project was canceled, and BioWare employees were laid off.The fan petition received about 290 thousand signatures, and the We Are Mass Effect movement placed an advertising billboard in Times Square in New York on October 26.The organizers promise new billboards, including at The Game Awards ceremony. We discussed details about the canceled game in the material Canceled Mass Effect sent the hero into the Cold War, and we wrote about the music for Mass Effect 5 in a note Composer Journey uploads 22 minutes of music.

Graffiti has become a new tactic, and not all fans are happy about it.Some believe that the pressure must be kept up, for the sake of the franchise and for the sake of the people who made it.Others doubt that the drawings on the buildings will make EA believe in the series' worth. The series composer noted how quickly the campaign grew in a matter of days. The organizers of We Are Mass Effect said that they did not call for this and that vandalism is bad.
