Phantom Blade Zero received almost 20 minutes of gameplay.S-Game took a closer look at the combat system, weapon upgrades, side quests and difficulty levels.
The main change in the perception of the game after the show is that Phantom Blade Zero does not limit the hero to one katana and a couple of techniques. The arsenal is built around dozens of weapons that can be changed to suit a specific enemy and your own build.

More than 30 main types of weapons
As you progress through Soul, you unlock over 30 major weapons.Another 25 options relate to Phantom Edges - an additional arsenal with its own attacks and purposes.
Weapons can be upgraded and combined with accessories. If the selected build is no longer satisfactory, the materials can be returned through reforging and invested in another option. This removes the need to hold on to a bad upgrade until the end of the game.
Three difficulty modes designed for different paces
Wayfarer is for those who want to focus on the story.Hellwalker makes enemies more dangerous and changes their behavior.Sixty-Six Days is designed for players who want the maximum level of pressure.
Side quests also affect the progression. Some of them open up additional story branches and help you understand the events of Wulin.

Donnie Yen helps with the performance of kung fu
Donnie Yen is involved in the project as a creative consultant. His appearance and movements are used for Mo Yuan, the protagonist's father.S-Game brought in an actor and director to bring the characters' movements closer to the cinematic kung fu that the game's style is based on.
Phantom Blade Zero will be released on October 29, 2026 on PlayStation 5. In the US and some regions, the release will take place on October 28.
