Monster Hunter Rise has surpassed 20 million copies sold. The new result was confirmed by Capcom, and the previous official cut at the end of June recorded 19.3 million.

Over the course of several months, the game added at least another 700 thousand copies. For a 2021 project, the pace is noticeable: Rise has long gone beyond the launch audience of the Nintendo Switch and later reached PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

Rise's sales have now approached Monster Hunter: World, which remains the series' biggest single release. At the same time, Capcom is already developing a new branch of the franchise through Wilds and the major expansion Ascendance.

At SNBK Games we separately analyzed new mechanics and Ascendance monsters, and also version of Monster Hunter Wilds for Switch 2.Against this background, the old Rise continues to sell without a new major campaign.

The 20 million mark cements Rise among Capcom's most successful games and shows that interest in it continues years after release.
