Marvel’s Wolverine noticeably different from Spider-Man already in the basic rhythm of fights.Logan does not keep his distance and does not tie up enemies with a web - he quickly closes the distance, breaks the formation of the group and finishes off opponents with his claws.

Insomniac makes the fights harder and tougher, but maintains fast controls. The main thing is to constantly stay close to the target and not let the group surround the hero.
Logan closes the distance himself
One of the key mechanics allows you to quickly jump towards the selected enemy. This replaces the usual long-range control tools and helps you quickly switch between targets.
After getting close, you can continue the series with regular strikes, a throw or a special technique. In close quarters, this pace turns the fight into constant movement from one enemy to another.
Rage enhances aggressive play
As the fight progresses, the rage gauge fills. After activation, Logan becomes more dangerous and quickly deals with groups of opponents.
The mechanics encourage you not to move away after each hit you receive.Regeneration and rage allow you to take more risks than in games with more vulnerable heroes.
Claws change the execution of finishing moves
Insomniac does not hide the consequences of the attacks.Finishes are shorter and harsher, and the environment can be used to finish the fight.
This is an important difference from Spider-Man: Wolverine doesn't try to make the fights acrobatic. Here the sense of power is built on the sudden approach, the weight of the blow and Logan's ability to withstand what would stop another hero.
Marvel's Wolverine will release on September 15, 2026 for PlayStation 5.
