Chronicles: Medieval developer Raw Power Games has warned that it may close before the game launches in early access.According to the team, funding is "no longer secured" and without it it is impossible to continue working on the game.
The message appeared on the studio’s social networks. In it, the authors write directly: now the studio is “in real danger of closure,” and they do not want to embellish the situation. The most painful thing is that there is only a small step left before early access. The world that the team had been building for years, they said, was finally starting to come to life, and employees in Copenhagen and remotely invested in the project much more than was required of them.
The studio does not yet know how it will all end, but it is not going to give up.Players are asked to wishlist the game on Steam and spread the word about it.IGN is hoping a publisher or major investor will intervene.
Chronicles: Medieval was shown at Summer Game Fest 2025. The debut trailer with narrator Tom Hardy received more than two million views on the IGN channel. It's an open world with action and strategy: previews praised the scale of simultaneous battles and the ability to inhabit the commander and fight from a third person. There is a page for the game on Steam, there is no price yet, and the release is scheduled for 2027.Russian is on the list of supported languages.
