The remaster runs on the KEX Engine and includes content from the original Thief: The Dark Project and the Thief Gold add-on.Nightdive claims improved textures, models and animations, as well as minor tweaks to the original levels.

Modern features include up to 4K resolution at 120 FPS, gamepad support, a weapon and item wheel, selectable missions, and built-in support for custom campaigns.

The release date has not yet been announced.On Steam, the project is marked as awaiting release on PC.
