Horror Tenebris Somnia now available on Xbox. This unusual project combines 2D retro graphics with cut scenes filmed with real actors. The game invites you to explore disturbing rooms, solve puzzles and avoid dangerous creatures.
A pixel game suddenly turns into a movie
Regular game sequences resemble classic horror films with small rooms and limited resources. But at key moments the story cuts to live-action footage shot by an Argentine crew. The authors use contrasting styles to enhance the sense of nightmare.

The Xbox Wire release lists the game as one of the week's releases with a date October 16.Saibot Studios is responsible for the development, and the publisher is New Blood Interactive.
If you love old horror games and aren't afraid of experimental art, Tenebris Somnia is worth a look. But it is wrong to perceive live scenes as a separate interactive film: the basis remains research and riddles.
