What the developers are going to fix

The publisher explains the decision by the need to polish the combat system.Priorities are squad positioning, initiative, ability balance, and the impact of decisions in each battle.Another goal is to develop characters, so that when leveling up you really want to try different combinations of skills.

This is not an announcement of a complete restart of development or a change of genre. The team promises to release new videos and tell more about the game world before the release. The official list of platforms currently includes PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.

What kind of game is Shadow of the Road?

The story takes place in an alternate 19th-century Japan, where samurai traditions collide with technology and supernatural forces.A squad of heroes fights in turn-based tactical battles: positions, turn order and special skills are important. The story addresses political conflicts and personal decisions of the characters.
