Ubisoft has decided to close Rainbow Six Mobile. The mobile tactical shooter servers will be available until January 15, 2027.The team announced this in a message to the players on October 8.
The decision concerns the mobile game specifically, and not Rainbow Six Siege on PC and consoles. The developers specifically emphasized that the next season of Rainbow Six Mobile will still be released as planned next week.

What will happen to the game before it closes?
According to the studio, the project has completed 15 seasons since launching in early regions in 2023.In the message, the team thanked the community for the matches, tournaments and feedback, but said that the specialists would move on to other long-term projects.
Ubisoft promises to publish detailed instructions for the last months of work later.Specific rules for returning purchases, transferring progress, or a possible offline mode have not yet been announced; It’s too early to think about them.
This is another example of the risk for games that rely entirely on running servers.Yesterday we wrote about closing of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, however, the reasons and conditions for the two solutions are different.
