Quake: Dawn of the Machine came out August 6th.The new campaign expands the modern re-release of the classic shooter with a separate set of levels.

The project continues the line of additions that return to Quake not for the sake of simple nostalgia, but for the sake of new maps built with an understanding of the speed and verticality of the original.

Quake gets new levels again

The familiar pace remains at the core: fast movements, vertical arenas, searching for weapons and constantly changing distances. The new maps take advantage of the modern port's capabilities, but don't change the core mechanics.

Dawn of the Machine is available to owners of the current re-release of Quake on supported platforms.
