Sony has revealed the September additions to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. This is Game Catalog, not monthly PS Plus games for September, so the set here is different.

If you choose by genre, the layout is simple: RuneScape: Dragonwilds - for a company, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound - for a single action game, Slitterhead - if you want something dark and unusual. And all this is not released in one day: the main part of the catalog will appear on September 15, with a few more games on the 22nd and 29th.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds - option for the company

RuneScape: Dragonwilds arrives on PS5 on September 15th.This is a cooperative survival on the continent of Ashenfall: resource extraction, construction, leveling up skills and battles with creatures from the RuneScape universe.

If you're going to play with friends, it's logical to start here. But for those who are already tired of survival games, Dragonwilds is unlikely to offer anything fundamentally new.

WWE 2K26 is primarily for wrestling fans

WWE 2K26 will also be included in the catalog on September 15 on PS5.The game features over 400 wrestlers and legends, and the Showcase focuses on CM Punk and alternate versions of key events in his career.

If you don't follow WWE, this is not a release for which you should immediately free up disk space. But for fans of the series, a subscription removes the main question of whether to buy the annual issue again at full price.

Date Everything!already available

Date Everything!appeared in the catalog on September 9 in the US and UK and September 10 in Japan. The game turns objects in the house into characters with whom you can be friends, quarrel and have romantic relationships.

Of the entire selection, this is perhaps the most unusual option. If you want a break from the usual action games and RPGs, you can start here. But check your region: Sony warns that Game Catalog lineup and dates may vary.

September 22: Ball x Pit x Slitterhead

Ball x Pit will be added on September 22.It's a fast-paced fantasy roguelike where heroes fight their way through crowds of enemies with an ever-changing array of projectiles and gradually rebuild New Ballbylon.

Slitterhead will be released on the same day for PS5 and PS4.The mood here is completely different: a dark action game about the creature Hyoki, which can inhabit people and hunts monsters hiding among the city's inhabitants.

Ball x Pit is suitable for short runs.Slitterhead is better to choose for the atmosphere and the strangest idea - the game is noticeably less familiar than most of the entries in the catalog.

September 29: Ninja Gaiden, Hinterberg and Sniper Elite

At the end of the month, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg and Sniper Elite: Resistance will be added to the catalog.Ragebound brings the series back to 2D action, Hinterberg mixes dungeons and puzzles with small Alpine town life, and Resistance offers a standalone campaign in France with co-op.

Of these three, I would launch Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound first. It does not require a long acceleration and immediately gives what you turn it on for: fast combat and the familiar rhythm of the old school.

What do Premium subscribers get?

Premium will include Mega Man X Command Mission for PS5 and PS4 and Metro Redux for PS4.Sony did not indicate separate dates for them, so they belong to the main wave on September 15.

Command Mission is especially interesting to see now that Mega Man is back in the news again.Metro Redux is a more familiar option: two story-based games in the series in one package without having to understand new mechanics.

There isn't one game in September that automatically outshines everything else. But the selection covers different tastes well - from cooperative survival to 2D action and strange horror.

Which of the September Game Catalog would you launch first?
