Pokémon Pokopia will receive an expansion with a new underwater area. The addition changes the usual exploration: part of the world is now under water, where you can look for Pokemon, resources and places for construction.

For Pokopia, this is a logical development of the main idea. The game is built around creating your own space, so the new environment should provide more options for settlements and decor.
Construction will go under water
In the new zone, it will be possible to place objects on the seabed and gradually develop a separate area.Underwater materials are different from those found on land.
This affects not only the appearance of the base. Some resources will be needed for new recipes and items.
New Pokemon will appear in the area
The underwater zone is inhabited by species that are suited to the marine environment. They can be encountered during exploration and added to a developing settlement.
Pokopia maintains a relaxed pace: the expansion doesn't turn the game into a combat RPG, but expands on collecting, building, and exploration.
The expansion will continue to play after release
The expansion is included in the Pokémon Pokopia support plans. The exact release date for the underwater area will be announced separately by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company.
