Atlus released the second major Persona 4 Revival Broadcast and showed more of how the remake expands on life in Inaba. The main new feature is Location Episodes: individual episodes tied to specific places and characters, which provide additional scenes outside of the usual Social Link structure.
The broadcast also showed new members of the Investigation Team, minor characters and fresh fragments of battles. This continues the line that Atlus outlined back in the summer: Revival is not limited to new graphics and reassembled dungeons.
Location Episodes add new stories to Inaba
Location Episodes work as short stories that take place in familiar locations around the city.Their point is not to replace Social Link, but to provide more reasons to return to the areas of Inaba and see characters outside of the main story scenes.
This is an important change for a remake. The original Persona 4 was built on the feeling of a small town, where the same places gradually become overgrown with familiar faces. The new system makes this part of the game tighter without changing the very basis of the calendar.

The investigative team is back in the spotlight
The second episode takes a closer look at the members of the Investigation Team and their interactions. The combat system retains its turn-based basis, but uses the Baton Pass, Prime Time mechanics already confirmed for Revival, and new options for working with statuses.
We have already discussed why Persona 4 Revival no longer looks like a simple remake. The new broadcast rather confirms this conclusion: Atlus is updating not just one subsystem, but the entire rhythm between investigation, everyday life and battles.
When will Persona 4 Revival be released?
The main version will be released on February 18, 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the version for Nintendo Switch 2 will be released on May 20.The game will be available on Xbox and PC via Game Pass on release day.
If you want to compare the current Inaba with an earlier show, we have analysis of the updated city and new scenes. The Second Broadcast reveals that many of these changes are not only due to decorations, but also to additional content.
