The developers have postponed versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One until early 2027.
Price and editions
The standard edition was priced at $14.99 or euros. The Deluxe Edition costs 19.99 and also includes a digital soundtrack.
The horned demon returns from exile
The main character, the horned demon Okko, has been hiding for a thousand years. He takes up a weapon called Mighty Fang and sets off across the lands of Kutal to deal with the local lords one by one and get to the demon lord Yalda.
The combat system is based on combinations: the hero is taught to throw opponents into the air, finish them off with a blow from above, repel other people's attacks and put together combos from this.Special emphasis is placed on large bosses: they offer to break their defense through a focus mode that temporarily increases damage.

Between missions, the player returns to a hub called The Old Throne. They sell items there, give food and give out tips, and the location itself has its own secrets.Deevols found throughout the levels unlock additional underground challenges.
A drawn world instead of a dark hell
Visually, Okko The Exiled relies on hand-drawn pixel animation with anime styling. This is what first of all attracted attention to the project back at the eastasiasoft shows. The world is presented as a bright, colorful underground, and not the usual dark hell.
This is a new franchise for Frozen Flame Interactive: the studio previously released the action platformer Robozarro.
We've collected other releases of the week in separate material.
