Nintendo has updated its weekly selection of digital releases for Switch and Switch 2. One of the most notable releases was EA Sports FC 27, but along with it, smaller projects, demos and pre-orders appeared in the eShop. For Switch 2 owners, the fall is gradually turning into a test of how quickly the new console can grow its library not only through Nintendo's own games, but also thanks to major third-party series.

EA's football simulator is important precisely as a massive multi-platform release. On PC this year, developers separately accelerated launch and expanded graphics parameters - we discussed these changes here: EA Sports FC 27 changes on PC.On Switch 2, the key question is different: how close the new version is to older platforms in terms of quality and feature set.
At the same time, Nintendo continues to prepare its own fall lineup.A standalone version of Minecraft will be released on Switch 2 in October: Minecraft versions for Switch 2, and for the 40th anniversary of Zelda the company is preparing a special console: anniversary Zelda controller. This makes the coming weeks especially busy for the new platform.
The weekly eShop update is also important as an indicator of support for Switch 2 from third-party publishers. The faster simultaneous versions of major games appear on the platform, the less dependent the new console is on Nintendo's internal releases, and the easier it is for owners to use it as their main system.
