A week before release, Nighthawks encountered a problem with Steam. The site has labeled the vampire RPG as Adults Only. After this, the game stopped appearing in standard searches, and in some countries it was removed from sale altogether.
Among the affected markets, the developers name Germany. For a small game, the loss of visibility right before launch can be more painful than the age warning itself.

The authors do not understand what exactly caused the decision
Wadjet Eye Games head Dave Gilbert says Valve thinks the game is noticeably more explicit than it actually is.Nighthawks creator Richard Cobbett also says the sexual content is mild and often comedic.
The team has already contacted Valve and is trying to get the category reviewed. The exact rating trigger has not yet been announced.
There are a few days left until release
Steam currently lists September 22nd as the release date. The game page is still available via direct link where regional rules allow it.
For the authors, the main risk is clear: the user may simply not see Nighthawks in the store. Therefore, Valve's decision became an urgent problem for the studio, and not a formality around age labeling.
