2K has clarified the schedule for the end of support for NBA 2K25.The game will be available for purchase in digital stores until October 30, 2026.The servers will work until the end of December 31, after which network functions will no longer be available.
After October 30, new users will no longer be able to purchase NBA 2K25.Owners will save the game in the library and will be able to download it again.Online modes will continue to operate as normal until the end of December.

As of January 1, 2027, multiplayer, online leagues, and community trading features will be disabled.Along with them, MyCAREER and MyTEAM will become unavailable, and you will no longer be able to earn VC virtual currency.
The offline part will remain.2K specifically lists Play Now, MyNBA, The W, and MyWNBA among the modes that will be usable after the servers close if a particular feature does not require a connection.
The warning is especially important for players who were planning to buy the old part of the series after the release of NBA 2K27.There is less than a month left until sales stop, and almost three until online shutdown.
NBA 2K25 currently has no price on Russian Steam, which means you can’t buy the game in this region.Disabling the servers will affect everyone who already has the game in their library: local and single-player functions will remain, but progress and activities tied to a constant connection with 2K services will end.
