Naughty Dog confirmed two new projects for The Last of Us and transferred Intergalactic

Naughty Dog is working on two new projects in the universe The Last of Us, which will continue the story after the first and second parts.Studio head Neil Druckmann spoke about this at a charity stream for The Last of Us Day, which took place on September 28, American time.At the same time, the studio postponed the full-fledged show Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet until 2027.

What Druckmann said

According to Druckmann, the studio has been discussing new stories in the series since the Grounded II documentary about The Last of Us Part II.Both projects are at a very early stage.He emphasized that Naughty Dog doesn't return to a franchise until it has nothing real to say, and now the team believes these stories are worth telling.

Intergalactic is waiting for 2027

The full screening of the sci-fi film Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has been postponed to 2027.Druckmann called it the most ambitious game in the studio's history and explained that the team needed more time to show it properly.There will be no new materials in 2026.

Intergalactic centers around bounty hunter Jordan A. Moon, played by Tati Gabrielle.The heroine finds herself on the planet Sempiria, which has had no connection with the rest of the Universe for hundreds of years.

What else did The Last of Us Day bring?

• HBO series. Joining the third season are John Goodman (a new character named Joey), Laura Bailey, who voiced Abby in the second game, as Seraphite leader Elizabeth, and Ian Alexander as the voice of Lev.
• Free background for PS5. An animated background with young and adult Ellie has appeared in the Welcome Hub.This is the first The Last of Us background in this PlayStation section.
