Wired Productions and Glee-Cheese released the first public demo of MR.RECORDS on Steam. The game combines relaxed music store management with rhythm scenes that transport store owner George into imaginary worlds associated with specific tracks.

Two halves of one game

During regular hours, the player helps visitors pick up records, talks to them and learns their stories. After the store closes, the structure changes: the songs become full-fledged rhythm episodes with movement, color spaces and George's musical memories.

The demo shows exactly this contrast. The developers are not trying to make the store a simple menu between levels: working with customers and choosing a record should give context to where the music sends the hero after a change.

New console versions confirmed

Simultaneously with the demo, the publisher confirmed the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.PC and Nintendo Switch 2 were previously announced, so MR.RECORDS is now being prepared for four current platforms at once. The exact date for the full version has not yet been announced.

The public trial is available on Steam and covers the beginning of the story. This is the first opportunity to test how naturally the game switches between narrative and rhythm mechanics without purchasing the full version.

MR.RECORDS was one of the smaller games that received fresh exposure right after the Tokyo Game Show.We collected a large selection of projects with dates and new mechanics in materials based on the results of TGS 2026.
