When is Minecraft Dungeons II available?

Mojang confirms a September 29 release. For the PS5 version, PlayStation Store indicates launch at 08:00 UTC, that is, at 11:00 Moscow time.Steam and the Mojang page so far show only the date without a single time for all platforms, so 11:00 Moscow time is correct to indicate specifically for PS5, and not as a confirmed global moment for PC, Xbox and Switch.

Platforms, price and Game Pass

  • Platforms: Windows (Steam and Xbox app), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
  • Game Pass: The game is available from day one on PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate, including cloud gaming. We have collected details about the September wave of service in a separate news.
  • Price on Steam: the standard edition costs $29.99 in the US store;regional price depends on the country.
  • Deluxe Edition: four hero skins, a Soul cloak, a Blub pet and two future DLCs.

Pre-orders included two hero skins, a Twisted cloak and a Twisted chicken pet.Owners of the first Minecraft Dungeons can get the Hero Cape by playing both games under the same Microsoft account. The cloak will appear in Minecraft Java and Bedrock itself.Game Pass is also an option.

Is there Russian language

Yes, but without voice acting.Steam claims Russian interface and subtitles.Full voice acting is available in nine languages, including English, German, French, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese.

What's new compared to the first part

The main change concerns the structure. In the first Minecraft Dungeons, missions were launched individually from a camp, while the sequel is built as a single connected world with settlements and fast travel points. The central city is called Brave Haven, and on the map you can ride on trolleys. The layout of the caves and ruins may change between visits.

The hero learned to jump: a jump was added to the roll, which can be used to attack from above. There are now 12 equipment slots instead of six.Armor is now divided into helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots, and talismans provide passive bonuses. The hero still does not have a separate class: the play style (mage, archer, tank or support) determines the equipment.

Minecraft Dungeons II and The Sift dimension

The sequel debuts The Sift, Minecraft's first new dimension in over 14 years. It won't be released to the main game until 2027, so it can be seen in Dungeons II before anyone else.More details about this can be found in our material. about the new dimension of The Sift.

System requirements for PC

The minimum requirements on Steam are modest: an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 2200G processor, 8 GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 1050 or Radeon RX 560 video card with 2 GB of video memory.Requires 64-bit Windows and requires a Microsoft account to play.
