The composer of Doom and Doom Eternal told IGN that he does not rule out returning to the series. However, there is no agreement with id Software yet.

The composer did not close the door to Doom for himself
At PAX Australia, composer Mick Gordon told IGN that he would like to work on Doom again. However, he immediately made a reservation: for this to happen, certain circumstances must arise. He did not announce any negotiations, contract or new project.
Why returning doesn't seem easy
Gordon composed the music for 2016's Doom and Doom Eternal. After the release of the last game, a public conflict arose between him and the development management. In 2022, the composer detailed his version of the dispute, including claims regarding payment for work and the release of the soundtrack. Therefore, his current words should not be interpreted as confirmation of reconciliation.
What ideas for the series does Gordon still have?
In a conversation with IGN, the musician noted that he still has ideas for Doom that he would like to implement one day.Now this is the author’s personal desire, and not the plan of Bethesda or id Software.Gordon himself continues to work on music for other games, including Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2.
What is known about the next work on Doom
Neither the composer's return date nor his participation in future games have been announced. If the parties agree, this must be announced officially.Until then, Gordon's words remain a cautious but interesting message for fans of the Doom soundtrack.
