Two Middle-earth games from Monolith are coming to Nintendo for the first time: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition and Shadow of War Definitive Edition will be released on Switch 2 on September 30th.Aspyr brings them together in Middle-earth: Shadow Bundle.
Enhanced editions included
Shadow of Mordor comes in a Game of the Year edition with all major additions, while Shadow of War comes in a Definitive Edition. This means that the Switch 2 is not getting the base releases of 2014 and 2017, but the final bundles with additional content.

The main feature of the series is the Nemesis System
Both games build much of the story around orcs remembering encounters with the hero, getting promoted, and forming weaknesses and rivalries.Shadow of War expanded this system with armies, fortresses and assaults.
The port is especially notable after the closure of Monolith Productions: new versions are made by Aspyr, so we are talking about porting existing games, and not about reviving the original studio or developing a third part.
More and more major games from previous generations have been ported to Switch 2 in recent months. We are following the new console in a separate feed;one of the materials - Diablo IV celebrates its 30th anniversary with a new season and comes to Nintendo Switch 2.
Release already September 30
Both games will be coming to Switch 2 at the end of the month. The publisher is betting on a complete set and a portable format, preserving the central mechanics of the originals.
