Nintendo Switch 2 owners can already try it Metaphor: ReFantazio before purchase.ATLUS has released a free demo with the beginning of the story campaign - the same prologue in which the game introduces the royal tournament and the archetype system.
Progress is transferred to the full version
Saving the demo can be transferred to the full edition, which will be released on Switch 2 November 12, 2026.You won't have to start the story over again after purchasing.
Metaphor: ReFantazio will be released in October 2024 on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.It's a role-playing game from the minds of Persona, with turn-based combat, real-time action, relationships with allies, and a calendar where each activity takes up days. For Switch 2, this is a separate console release, and not a new chapter of the story.
The demo version will be useful primarily for those who want to evaluate the controls and pace of the game on the new platform. It's worth checking the frame rate and quality of the handheld mode from independent technical tests, rather than from the frames of the PC version.
