Nintendo has released update 1.8.0 for Mario Kart World.The main addition is ten tracks based on the original Super Mario Kart for SNES.
The list includes Mario Circuit 1-3, Ghost Valley 1-3, Choco Island 1-2, Vanilla Lake 1 and Koopa Beach 1. They are available in VS Race, Time Trials, Online Play and Wireless Play.These tracks use panels with items instead of the usual boxes.
The Knockout Tour has received two new routes - Propeller Rally and Turnip Rally.To select them directly, you first need to complete at least one corresponding race.Nintendo has also added a spectator mode for groups in Online Play and LAN Play.Now a group can have up to 26 participants, for example 24 racers and two spectators.
Filters have been added to Photo Mode, and Time Trials now shows the time of each lap.Nintendo has already confirmed that future updates will add new Knockout Tour routes.
