Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Francis Coulomb have announced that pixelated body horror RPG Look Outside will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 30th.The game appeared on PC in March 2025.
The action takes place in an apartment building.A mysterious event turns anyone who looks out the window into grotesque monsters, and the world plunges into chaos.The hero will have to explore corridors and apartments, look for food, weapons and supplies, and also meet strange people and creatures that no longer resemble people.
Forays require planning: you need to bring the loot home, where you can cook dinner, create useful items, play games and build relationships with neighbors who can eventually become allies.The battles are turn-based, there are more than 150 types of enemies, and the distance to the enemy is taken into account.
The developers promise 10 to 12 hours of playtime, about a dozen boss fights, the ability to recruit allies and several endings.
