DANGEN Entertainment has set the console release of Kingdom of Night for November 5th. The pixelated action-RPG about a demonic invasion of an American city will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch after last year's launch on PC.
The action takes place in Miami - not in Florida, but in a small town in Arizona - in 1987. A Satanic cult releases Baphomet, and schoolboy John tries to survive one night, save his friends and deal with the demons that have filled the city.
Five classes and free boss order
The player chooses a barbarian, knight, robber, necromancer or sorcerer. Each class has its own skill tree, and equipment and rare loot allow you to further customize your build.
The city is open for exploration, and the demon generals are allowed to be defeated in different orders. This brings Kingdom of Night closer to classic action-RPGs, although visually and in atmosphere the game is clearly drawn to the American horror of the 1980s.

You can play with two people on one screen
The entire campaign supports local co-op for two. This is not a separate mode: the second player can go through the main story and dungeons with the first.
The Xbox Series and Switch versions are now available for pre-order with a 10% discount. PS5 will have a Midnight Edition with a set of 25 PlayStation Network avatars.
