The inZOI team is experimenting with multiplayer. The new mode is called Canvastown and noticeably changes the usual camera: instead of managing the life of an entire city, the player takes control of one Zoi and finds himself in a shared online space.
The developers expect to gather about 50 people in one channel. You can customize your character, your home, interact with other players, and play out your own scenarios.

The creator compares the idea to Ready Player One
Director Hyungjin Kim says that the mode should provide an opportunity to escape from everyday life for a while and experience unusual moments inside the simulator. He cites Ready Player One as a clear guide.
Using script mods, the authors want to allow mini-games like racing. Some good ideas may later end up in the main game.
This is not a new main goal of the project
Kim specifically emphasizes that Canvastown remains a sideline. The core team remains focused on core inZOI and its core systems.
The full release of the mode is a long way off.The developer himself calls the current version an early prototype with a large number of missing elements.
