Rockstar has released a release trailer for GTA VI - Jason and Lucia are again at the center of the story

Rockstar Games released Grand Theft Auto VI release trailer. With just over a month left until November 19, the studio is once again showing Jason Duvall and Lucia Caminos, who are forced to go on the run after a robbery goes wrong.Instead of a detailed analysis of game systems, the new video focuses on the atmosphere of Vice City, the relationship between the two heroes and the music that will accompany the journey through Leonidas.

A robbery sets off the story of Jason and Lucia

According to the official description, the heroes are accustomed to unequal conditions, but hope to quickly improve matters with one successful robbery. The plan fails and the couple becomes embroiled in a statewide criminal conspiracy. To get out of trouble, Jason and Lucia will have to rely on each other. The trailer itself shows the setting and characters, but does not reveal all the plot branches.

The video features city streets, nightlife, cars and many recognizable details of modern Florida. This is precisely the atmosphere of the artistic world of GTA VI, and not proof of the appearance of each shown activity in the form of a separate game mode.

Music composed by Justice

Main music news - French electronic duo Justice, which Rockstar credits as the authors of the original GTA VI music. The trailer features the new single "Flower in a Hurricane" featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The composition will be included in the official music album of the game.

Rockstar has opened pre-save for GTA VI: The Album on music platforms and pre-order physical versions of the soundtrack on vinyl and CD.The studio promises to disclose details of the rest of the music and radio stations separately. The news about Justice does not mean that all GTA VI music will be limited to the works of only this duo.

What platforms will GTA VI be released on?

The date has not changed: November 19, 2026, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.Rockstar still hasn't announced a PC release or given a release date.Despite recent journalistic reports about the accelerated development of the computer version, the official trailer does not confirm either its release quarter or system requirements.

The one and a half minute video is not a full-scale demonstration of the mechanics.Rockstar already showed an expanded look at the game in August, and to evaluate the shooting, movement and open world, it is better to compare these materials, rather than attribute non-existent features to the new trailer.

You can watch the premiere on the official Rockstar channel. There are several weeks left before the release: now the main practical questions are how the game will behave on different consoles and what plot details the studio will decide to reveal before November 19.
