Take-Two: PC is becoming more and more important - but the date for GTA 6 for computers has not been announced

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick again spoke about the role of PC in the publisher's strategy.His wording sounds reassuring for those waiting for GTA VI on computers, but there is still no official announcement of the PC version.

PC becomes more important for Take-Two

At the annual shareholders meeting, Zelnik was asked about the PC release schedule.He responded that the company is trying to release games over time on platforms where there is a significant audience, and separately noted that the PC is becoming an “increasingly important” platform for Take-Two.

This continues the manager's previous position: large PC releases are capable of generating a significant share of sales.But a publisher's overall strategy doesn't mean automatically launching every game on every system simultaneously.

As of today, GTA VI is announced only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with a date of November 19, 2026.Zelnick did not name the PC release window or confirm that it will be shorter than past Rockstar games.
