Gears of War: E-Day On August 6, it launched an early stage of open beta.The main test was Horde Siege - a new PvE mode that develops the familiar Horde.
The developers have increased the scale of the arenas and the number of participants, so defense is less like holding one convenient position.The squad has to move more often and control several directions.
Horde Siege is betting on big fights
The mode maintains the core of the Horde: the team survives successive attacks and tries to hold out as long as possible.The difference is in the size of the maps and the number of threats that can come from different directions.
Testing is also needed by The Coalition to check servers, weapon balance and match pacing before the full launch.
E-Day will be released on October 6
The campaign will return to Marcus Fenix and House Santiago in the early days of the Locust invasion.The multiplayer beta does not reveal the plot, but allows you to test the updated combat system in advance.
Gears of War: E-Day will release on October 6, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S and PC and will be available on Game Pass.
