LEGO Star Wars, Deep Rock and six more games will leave Game Pass

In the section Leaving Soon Xbox apps have eight games that should leave Game Pass October 31.Among them are a large LEGO version of Star Wars, the cooperative Deep Rock Galactic and two re-released Double Fine adventure games.Subscribers have less than two weeks to complete what they started or decide what is worth purchasing separately.

Full list as of October 31

Will be removed from the catalog LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Deep Rock Galactic, Wartales, Dead Static Drive, Wildgate, Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Full Throttle Remastered and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. The list is based on the Leaving Soon section of the official Xbox app.

This includes subscription access on PC, consoles and via the cloud in supported regions.Copies purchased separately do not disappear anywhere. The selection of games may differ in individual countries and tariffs, so it is better to check the final access period in your library.

What can you realistically accomplish?

If you need a complete plot, it is more convenient to start with Day of the Tentacle Remastered or Full Throttle Remastered. These are classic adventures with puzzles and a not too long main story. In two weeks, it’s quite possible to complete both games without daily marathons.

Wartales will require a different approach: it's a big mercenary RPG with open-ended missions and long campaigns. It is more difficult to close it entirely within the remaining period. In Deep Rock Galactic, individual expeditions are independent, so you can spend a few evenings with friends without haste.

Double Fine leaves the catalog twice

Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle are brought together by Double Fine. These remasters are leaving at the same time, but the announcement does not confirm the imminent removal of all other games from the developer. It’s also not worth linking changes to corporate decisions without a direct statement from Microsoft.

LEGO Star Wars spans nine Skywalker films and offers far more side missions than the story requires. If you've been putting off the game for a long time, you can choose one trilogy instead of trying to clear everything before October 31st.

What happens to saves?

Removing from a subscription does not automatically remove saves or achievements.Saved progress usually remains tied to your account, and access can be restored after purchasing the game.Possible discounts and their terms depend on the region and the current offer of the store, so you should not promise all users the same price.

Microsoft shows the timing and exact list in the Xbox application. If purchasing is not part of your plans, for the coming evenings it is better to choose projects with a short, completed story.
