Five Nights at Freddy's Coming to Fortnite on October 1st

Epic Games has officially confirmed the crossover Fortnite × Five Nights at Freddy’s.The collaboration starts October 1 - on the same day as the start of the Fortnitemares 2026 Halloween event.

The announcement came out on September 27 in the form of a 40-second teaser.Players enter Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and are chased by Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.Judging by the video, the pizzeria will become a new location on the map: since the beginning of the season, construction has been going on in its place, which fans have long associated with FNaF.

The trailer also hints at a separate mode: animatronics act as bosses, and the player who defeats them can take the place of the monster himself.Epic has not yet officially described this mode.

All four animatronics will appear as skins with the Withered style.The skins react to damage: in the trailer, Freddy and Bonnie have parts of their faces falling off after being hit with a pickaxe.Also shown is the Mr. Back Bling.Cupcake and Fazbear Kicks.

The fan reaction was record-breaking: within nine hours, the announcement became the most popular post from a Fortnite account about a collaboration with the game, surpassing even Dragon Ball.Epic will reveal the exact composition of the store and the prices of the sets closer to launch.
