Owlcat Games released a new teaser for The Expanse: Osiris Reborn and showed the green areas of Ganymede, the moon of Jupiter, which serves as an agricultural center in the universe of The Expanse. The studio confirmed the next showing of the game for IGN Fan Fest.

When will it be released and on what
The release window for The Expanse: Osiris Reborn was announced back in March at the Xbox Partner Preview: the game will be released in the spring of 2027.There is no exact date yet.Platforms: PC (Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Since April 22, 2026, there has been a closed beta, which includes buyers of the Miller’s Pack and Collector’s Edition.Access to it will remain until release.
Story and combat
The player will become a Pinkwater Security mercenary who, while on vacation at Eros Station, finds himself at the center of a deadly lockdown and conspiracy that sets the entire solar system on fire.He will have to assemble a team and steer the ship, maneuvering between fragile alliances and betrayals.
Osiris Reborn is noticeably different from the studio's previous games.Instead of isometry, there is a third-person view, battles take place in real time with cover and weightlessness, and the structure is reminiscent of Mass Effect: satellites with their own goals, choice of lines and consequences of decisions.Among the stated locations are Ganymede, Ceres, Mars and the Moon. This is Owlcat's most ambitious game yet: fully voice-acted and animated through motion capture, with gameplay sequences that the studio has already shown at gamescom, including a mission to Ganymede that involves infiltrating an enemy base.
There are few details of the new teaser for a few seconds of the video, so the main event is ahead: a showing at IGN Fan Fest, where the studio will be able to demonstrate the battle or the design of one of the zones without editing.
Other games we're talking about these days are collected in our weekly calendar.
