Nacon and Midgar Studio have set Edge of Memories for release on November 5, 2026. The new game takes place in the Edge of Eternity universe, but instead of a turn-based system, it relies on real-time action and joint combinations of heroes.

The main character Eline is a wandering Soul Whisperer. The continent of Avaris is struck by Corrosion, turning people, animals and plants into monsters. After an unusual encounter, Elin gains the ability to control the infection inside her own body.

From turn-based RPG to action

In battle, Elin combines quick strikes and heavy techniques, and her companions help with their abilities at key moments. A separate Berserk system allows you to temporarily go into a more aggressive state and dramatically increase the pressure on the enemy.

Midgar Studio emphasizes that Edge of Memories is accessible to new players and does not require completion of Edge of Eternity. The connections between the games primarily concern the world and shared mythology.
