Electronic Arts spoke in detail about the changes in the computer version of EA Sports FC 27. The team focused on launch speed, graphics settings, keyboard controls and tools for selecting performance for specific hardware.
One of the notable changes concerns launch via Steam.According to EA's internal tests, the path from game launch to gameplay is about 50% faster on some configurations, although the final result will vary by computer.

New presets and VRAM indicator
FC 27 will feature additional Performance and Balanced graphics profiles.EA also designated High and Ultra levels, which on the hardware specified in the system requirements are aimed at at least 80 and 120 frames per second, respectively.
Individual parameters can still be changed manually.A VRAM indicator will be added to the graphics menu, which evaluates the maximum use of video memory at the selected settings and helps to understand how suitable they are for the video card.

The keyboard has been redesigned
For players without a gamepad, we have prepared two updated standard control options: with movement on WASD and with arrows.EA has also moved some of the tactical commands to more accessible keyboard shortcuts, and the layout can be customized.
Another change concerns Steam friends.Players on your Steam friends list will automatically show up through EA Connect, so you won't have to manually search for their EA ID first to play together.

Enhanced Ultra and work on responsiveness
For high-end computers, EA will add Enhanced Ultra Visuals - additional quality options above the regular Ultra preset. These will be disabled by default, so players can leave the default settings if framerate is more important.
The developers also announced optimizations aimed at situations where high CPU load degrades responsiveness. The system requirements specifically mention dual-channel memory: for the minimum configuration 2x4 GB is mentioned, for Ultra - 2x16 GB.SSD is recommended, but HDD is also supported at minimum requirements.
Which of these improvements to the PC version is more important to you - faster startup, VRAM control, or new performance settings?
