Developer Perseval BLR has released NeuralScreen, an unofficial utility that applies DLSS 5 neurorender to the entire Windows desktop.
The program captures an image of the screen, passes it through a neural renderer and displays the processed frame on top of the desktop. Nvidia officially supports DLSS 5 on GeForce RTX 50.The author of NeuralScreen states that his utility also works on the RTX 40 and RTX 30. This processing does not run on the RTX 20.

The limitations are serious: exclusive full-screen mode is not supported, GPU load can be high, and the project is in no way associated with Nvidia. The author specifically requests that you do not run NeuralScreen over competitive online games - a full-screen overlay may raise questions from anti-cheat.
This is not a driver feature and is not an official way to enable DLSS 5 on older graphics cards.NeuralScreen should be viewed as an experiment by a third-party developer, and installed only if you are prepared for possible errors and conflicts.
