Retrofiction Games has announced Dead of Darkness 2, a continuation of the retro horror game in the spirit of the classic Resident Evil.The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, but there is no release date yet.

The sequel moves to a full isometric 2D perspective.The developer promises larger sprites, additional animation frames, an expanded soundtrack, and noticeably more convenient inventory and map management.

The story features 28 characters connected to the overall mystery of the town of Goldren Creek.In certain episodes, you can switch between the three characters, use their position to solve puzzles, and share items through a common box.

Ammo and healing remain limited, and weapons can be upgraded with parts.Available options include knives, axes, submachine guns and flamethrowers.

For fans of the old school, we have materials about Heartworm with a camera instead of a regular weapon and Dino Crisis after 27 years.
