CD Projekt Red will release for Cyberpunk 2077 free update Edgerunners 2 Update with number 2.5 already October 22.The patch is timed to coincide with the release of the second season of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime on Netflix.Today, October 21, at 18:00 Moscow time, the studio will broadcast REDstreams on Twitch, YouTube and Steam and show the update in more detail.
Officially, CD Projekt has so far named two things: setting up cyber implants and a new fighting style with two-handed shooting.
The leak revealed the rest
The remaining details became known ahead of time.Blogger WesNemo published a video with details that CD Projekt shared with the content authors and quickly deleted it.They managed to save the retelling, but before today’s broadcast this is still unconfirmed information.According to them, the patch will include:
- side quest Clampdown about the events before the second season of the anime, with a reward in the form of the appearance of the mercenary Wick Kingsley;
- quest Welcome to Paradise with a mysterious tour of Night City;
- a radio station featuring music from both seasons of Edgerunners;
- Double Trouble skill for shooting from two pistols or revolvers;
- new outfits, hairstyles and photo mode options;
- mods on consoles via mod.io and adjusting the viewing angle on PS5 and Xbox;
- save folders, V stash filter, and PS5 HDR fix.
According to the same data, the update will be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series simultaneously, and the version for Switch 2 will receive it a little later.It will be possible to check the leak with the official list in the evening.
