Pavel Sasko from CD Projekt RED in an interview with IGN spoke about the composition of the team that writes quests for Cyberpunk 2: approximately half of the employees came from modders. The studio hires people who already know how to build stories inside other people's games and are not afraid of engine limitations.
The logic is clear. The modder is used to collecting tasks from what is at hand, and usually has a good sense of what the player is waiting for.For an open world with sidelines, this is a valuable skill.

Meanwhile, the first part continues to live: we wrote about update 2.5 and two pistols.
