Pearl Abyss has released the first expansion for Crimson Desert, Journey into the Unknown. On Russian Steam it costs 1534 ₽, the game has Russian language. To start, you need the main game.
In the store description, the addition encourages you to explore the lands and seas and find new ways to leave a mark on Pyvel's history. The initial reviews amounted to a “mostly positive” rating: 75% approval based on more than 170 reviews. But even in positive reviews, players write that the add-on urgently needs patches.
The complaints are repeated. For some, the game breaks or does not start, for others the mods have stopped working. One player got stuck in the first mission on an endless reload, and then the fishing rod stopped being obtained. They laugh at the AI of enemy ships, and the crew's sailors endlessly repeat the same line. The owner of the Radeon RX 9070 XT video card writes about the floating landscape and the strange shapes of the mountains.Until Pearl Abyss releases a fix, those who haven't completed the base game yet may want to wait to purchase.
