Ubisoft announced on the series' official account that the New Game Plus mode for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will be released next week.The company has not yet announced the exact date of the update.The announcement was accompanied by a gif in which Edward Kenway repeats the famous meme with Leonardo DiCaprio from The Great Gatsby.
Back in July, game director Richard Knight said in an interview with YouTuber JorRaptor that “New Game Plus” was among the team’s first tasks, but refused to name a date.According to him, the mode has already been implemented in Assassin's Creed Shadows, so it is a low-risk feature for developers.
Black Flag Resynced was released on July 9 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. On the first day, the remake sold 2 million copies, and the peak online on Steam almost reached 100 thousand people: this is a record for the series on this platform.The game has a Metacritic score of 84, which is the best score for the series since the original Black Flag.
