Embark has given a detailed look at Frozen Trail, the biggest update to ARC Raiders, which will be released on October 8th.The main addition will be the snowy map Pendola Pass, but the patch is not limited to the new location: there will be new ARCs, weapons, gun upgrades, personal outposts and a separate high-level Frigate encounter.
Pendola Pass - a new full-fledged card
The snowy pass expands the Rust Belt and builds around the source of the strange signal. The developers emphasize verticality and reduced visibility: snow and terrain should change combat distances and usual escape routes.

New Enemies and Frigate
Frozen Trail adds three new ARC types.Separately, Embark highlights Frigate, a high-level activity designed for trained raiders.Along with it, two new types of weapons and a modification system will appear, which will expand the customization of the already familiar arsenal.
Personal outposts can be developed and decorated. This is another layer of long-term progression between raids, rather than just a cosmetic room on the menu.
Previously, Embark had already changed the long-term Expeditions system - we discussed this in the material "ARC Raiders may abandon Expeditions entirely after Expedition 5".Frozen Trail shows the second part of the strategy: instead of just one seasonal event, the studio is expanding the world itself.
The update will be free
The main Frozen Trail patch will be released on October 8th for free.At the same time, the reward system will change: the new Reward Pass will partially replace the previous Raider Decks.Embark discloses monetization details separately, so it is important not to mix the free content of the update and paid rewards.
