Agefield High: Rock the School has arrived on PlayStation 5. The game, built around school life and the open space of a small town, was previously released on PC and is now expanding its audience through the console version. The release on Xbox Series is planned separately, so the launch on the platforms does not take place simultaneously.

The project attracted attention with an unusual mixture of teenage life simulator, research and mini-activities.The player can move around the school and surrounding area, interact with characters and gradually discover new activities. After the PC release, the developers had to take into account the technical comments of the audience, so the console version is also perceived as a test of how much the team managed to stabilize the game.

For small projects, the release on PS5 and Xbox often becomes the second wave of release: Steam gives early feedback, and console stores bring in a new audience. We regularly see a similar dynamic with independent games that first establish a foothold on PC and then expand platforms. On SNBK Games, the latest console releases are collected in a common feed: Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 on consoles.

For the console audience, everyday details are also important: a stable frame rate, correct operation of saves and convenient control with a gamepad. These are the things that most often determine whether a small PC project can successfully survive its second launch on consoles. The first patches after release will show which problems the developers consider priority.
