Deluxe Edition owners now have early access to Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve.Bandai Namco launched it on September 29 at 01:00 Moscow time, and a full release for everyone will take place October 2 at 01:00 Moscow time on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Who can play now
Three days of early access are included in the Deluxe Edition, as well as the Joker Flight Pack and Premium Joker Flight Pack.If you digitally pre-order the Deluxe Edition between September 29 and October 2, the game will be unlocked immediately.Along with early access, multiplayer servers are also opening, but for now only owners of publications with early access can play online.
Pre-ordering any edition before October 2nd gives you the F-14A aircraft and a reissue Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War 2006.In addition to early access, the Deluxe Edition includes a set of cosmetics and a Premium Ace Pass Plus voucher.
What is important to know before starting
Ace Combat 8 became the ninth part of the series and continues the events of the world after Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.Set in July 2029, the neighboring Republic of Sotoa captures Tiv, the capital of the Federation of Central Useea, and the player, part of Joker Squadron, attempts to retake the city.The script was written by director Sunao Katabuchi.
More than 30 aircraft of four classes are available at launch.Hits are now counted against any part of the enemy vehicle, and not just at vulnerable points.For online play, there is an Ace Combat Online mode with cross-play and a virtual Air Base lobby for 100 players.The PC version uses Denuvo protection.
