Assassin's Creed creator Patrice Désilets makes a game in which the correct answer to the question "where is the enemy?"more important than impact speed.B 1666: Amsterdam Witch Noah Brooklyn explores the city during the day, looking for traces of creatures called the Originals, and at night forces them to show their real faces. The developers explained this system in detail in a series of game videos, which were again noticed after the latest show. The day is spent investigating

17th century Amsterdam is filled with streets, houses and inhabitants, among which ancient entities are hidden. Before joining the battle, Noah needs to gather information and figure out who exactly should be pursued.Throughout the city, there are clues on facades and stones above entrances, and individual clues help identify the target.

The approach allows you to distinguish between ordinary residents and Originals based on the evidence found. The sequence is important: first the investigation, then the decision on how to get to the enemy. Therefore, comparing 1666: Amsterdam with the usual action game about a witch only reflects half of the game.

Hunting at night changes the rules

When the time of Esbat comes, the unmasked entities reveal their true forms.Noah uses inherited magic and can tailor tactics to suit a specific target. The authors promise several approaches to collisions. These are statements from the developers for now, and not the result of our independent completion of all tasks.

Acting next to Noah is Aaron, a man from 1999 who ended up in the body of a cat.You are allowed to switch between characters. The cat's body helps to go where a person cannot go, and Noah's magic is needed for direct confrontation with the Originals.

What will interest the new show?

Panache has created an unusual combination of detective and adventure with witchcraft. The most interesting moment is when the information collected during the day turns into the advantages of a night clash. But the promised freedom of approach and abundance of plot branches should be assessed on the basis of the full campaign, when it is ready. For now, you can try the first part and watch how the studio develops early access.
